Martell Webster has been cleared to begin low-impact activities (bike and pool) after X-rays reveal improvement in the stress fracture in his left foot. He will no longer be required to wear a boot. He is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season.Some good news on the injury front.

hey Casey thanks for the update, otherwise we would have forgotten about martell. Sometimes, however, an injury can be a blessing in disguise. Remember when Oden was out for the year, how LA stepped up his game, well, if Martell had played, that would have meant less time for Rudy, Nick, and even Travis and we all know how important those guys are for this team. Just imagine that a guy like Nicolas Batum, perhaps a tayshaun prince in the making, would not even make the roster!
anyway im soo excited for this year, but i can only imagine what the blazers have in store next year if they add another key player.
and Martell, it's real good to hear you're doing well
I was kinda disappointed that we didnt get to see Webster this year (other than preseason) as I was really counting on him to have a big year. But I believe things happen for a reason and the reason was so that Batum could really emerge as a legit NBA player.
