Great Podcast:
ReplyDeleteOne question on Greg's Chicken strips, You said they were all fat carbs and proteins. What else is there?
You need fat to give you endurance, you need Carbs to give you energy and you need proteins to build and keep muscles.
It is my belief that you need all food groups as long as you keep them in prospective, and the right prospective depends on your life style. It is also my belief that it doesn't matter where the food groups come from. There are different strokes for different folks. Plus lots of what is good for you and what you eat is based on what you inherited and was raised on.
I think your awards were a great idea. Like said, most valuable would be hard to pick.

ReplyDeleteThe comment was "fat and carbs and sodium"
Nick!
ReplyDeleteI am hard hearing, and I thought that was a dumb statement. But, again, sodium is an electrolyte and is essential to your body if you perspire a lot. Chicken Strips also has proteins.
I am not getting into one of the millions diet argument. I did terrific on the Atkins diet, but you will get millions of argument on it. Like I said different strokes for different folks, as long as they stay healthy.
I do stand corrected.
